Why "peculiar"?

"Weird, strange, crazy, eccentric, outlandish." That's how Webster would choose to further describe this youth group just based on the name. Maybe you feel slightly worried about what you'd find if you were to join us on Wednesday night bible study or Friday night youth group. But rest assured: the only reason we are peculiar is because we are only in this world, not of it. "They're ALIENS!!" you exclaim. Again, no, that's a different youth group. We are a group of Christian teens that is passionate Christ, we serve Him, and we care about one another. Now, your average club isn't like that. That's why we're peculiar!
